Dayne Allen Sheets (he/him/his)

Dayne is a 71-year-old, white, transgender man who realized he was trans in 2000, at 48, and came out and began transitioning 12 years later at 60. Dayne’s YouTube channel documents his transition and he has given TransRural Lives permission to share his stories. In the videos, he talks about the support he received from his mother, sister, and brother-in-law, his first T shot, name change, surgeries, and various other aspects of his daily life.
